Terms of Service for Contractors and Carpenters

1. Contractual Relationship

Contractors and carpenters engaged by Ace Construction Elite are bound by a contractual relationship governed by the terms and conditions set forth in their respective agreements. These agreements outline the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both parties, including but not limited to:

• Scope of work to be performed.
• Payment terms and conditions.
• Compliance with the National Construction Code of Australia (NCC) and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Quality standards and performance expectations.
• Dispute resolution mechanisms.

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Contractors and carpenters must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards, including but not limited to:

• The National Construction Code of Australia (NCC), which sets out the minimum requirements for the design, construction, and performance of buildings and structures.
• Occupational health and safety laws and regulations, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant state and territory legislation.
• Licensing and registration requirements for construction work, where applicable.
• Environmental laws and regulations governing construction activities, such as waste management and pollution control.

3. Quality Assurance

Contractors and carpenters are responsible for ensuring the quality and workmanship of their services in accordance with industry standards and client expectations. This includes:

• Using materials and techniques that meet or exceed the requirements of the NCC and other relevant standards.
• Conducting work in a professional manner, adhering to best practices and industry norms.
• Rectifying defects or deficiencies promptly and at no additional cost to the client.

4. Insurance and Indemnity

Contractors and carpenters must maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including public liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance, and workers' compensation insurance, as required by law and their contractual agreements with Ace Construction Elite. Contractors and carpenters are responsible for indemnifying Ace Construction Elite against any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from their services.

5. Confidentiality

Contractors and carpenters may have access to confidential information belonging to Ace Construction Elite or its clients in the course of their work. Contractors and carpenters must maintain the confidentiality of such information and refrain from disclosing or using it for any purpose other than the performance of their duties.

6. Termination of Engagement

Ace Construction Elite reserves the right to terminate its engagement with contractors and carpenters at any time for breach of contract, non-performance, or other reasons deemed appropriate. Termination may result in the withholding of payments, forfeiture of deposits, or pursuit of legal remedies, as outlined in the contractual agreement.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Contracts between Ace Construction Elite and contractors/carpenters are governed by the laws of VIC, Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the contractual relationship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of VIC.

By engaging in work with Ace Construction Elite, contractors and carpenters acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this Terms of Service document.
